Your rentals

The Rentals tab holds every order, on both sides of the marketplace.

Two sides, kept apart. Rent & Buy is everything where you are the renter or the buyer. Lend & Sell is everything where you are the lender or the seller. Nothing crosses between them.

It opens where you are needed. The tab opens on the side with something waiting on you; if neither side has, on the side that has orders; otherwise on Rent & Buy. Choose a side yourself and it stays on that side while you move around Jelly.

Five tabs on each side

• To do: the orders waiting on you. It is an overlay, not a separate pile: those orders still appear under Upcoming or Active as well.
• Upcoming: booked and being prepared. The money is taken; the piece has not moved.
• Active: the piece is out of the closet: out for delivery, delivered, due back, late, on its way home.
• Past: returned, resolved, closed or cancelled. Nothing more happens to the garment, though the money may still be settling, and the row says so.
• All.

What ends up in To do

Always something Jelly will otherwise refuse or charge for, never a nudge.

Renting: finish a payment · propose the courier's delivery time · film the piece when it arrives · film it before it goes back · book the return · answer a claim · clear a balance.

Either side: answer a change the other side asked for · pick one of the courier times they proposed. See Changing an order.

Lending: film a piece before it goes out · answer an extension request · confirm a piece is home · answer a claim.

Past is also where your history is: the pieces you have worn, and the pieces of yours other people have.
